Healthy Eating Plan During Pregnancy
I have been following healthier eating since the #FertilityChallenge and have cut out dairy, wheat and gluten. I posted previously and am in very early stages of pregnancy. Should I continue with this eating plan? I am currently just taking folic acid but no other vitamins. Is there anything else you would recommend to do or take?
#TeamRosa: Of course keep following the plan and the lemon drink; it’s all about being the healthiest you can be before and during pregnancy. Gabriela says eat pregnant to get pregnant, so all her eating guidelines cross over and are safe! I’ve used them before during and after several pregnancies. Watch Ali’s story below.
Our food philosophy is an eclectic mix of paleo meets raw meets body ecology, with a good dose of Weston A. Price and Nourishing Traditions. To support healthy eating for fertility, we have developed the Fertility Food Revolution Meal Plans which tend towards gluten-free, with a little dash of sheep’s or goats’ dairy allowed; prefer stevia, maple syrup and coconut sugar over conventional refined sugar and our main meals are based on vegetables and protein. The fertility food revolution meal plans are all about simple, honest food that is convenient and quick and easy to cook, created for delicious nutrition and enjoyment rich eating.
