Improving Success of IVF Implantation after IVF Failure
Q: I’m Forty five. One failed IVF October 2014 due to implantation failure, embryo top quality; have another IVF booked in April. What do you do to improve implantation chances?
A: That is such a good question and it’s definitely something that we can generally help with. Generally speaking, we’re looking at ensuring that we’ve got the best possible hormonal balance, the best possible nutritional balance, and of course the best possible uterine tone.
We use lots of different tools and techniques to be able to get to that, from herbal medicines, nutritional supplementation, to sometimes prescribed medications.
It really depends on what’s going on for you, but there are definitely things that can be done in regards to that. It’s one of the things that again we kind of focus quite directly: implantation failure.
Improving implantation is something that we’re also are quite keen on helping couples find solutions for because sometimes it’s what’s getting in the way between having a baby or not, and so we really want to make sure that we address that for all the couples that we are able to make a difference to.
A great place to start is the #FertilityChallenge. That would be my first recommendation, so you can learn about who we are what we do and what you can do to improve your chances for IVF.
