What is a Chemical Pregnancy?
A chemical pregnancy is actually a very early miscarriage, which takes place before anything can be seen on an ultrasound scan. It is termed a pregnancy in that a sperm has fertilized the egg, but later on, the egg fails to implant. Chemical pregnancies are said to account for up to 75% of all miscarriages most often happening around week five and/or within the week after a missed period.
Generally speaking, chemical pregnancy is a failure to implant. Hormonal imbalances can happen, but also there are seven categorical reasons, different factors will also apply.Chemical pregnancies generally speaking have to do with implantation failure, and it can happen for various reasons from hormonal imbalances to many other reasons.
Now the other thing I would say in regards to this is that generally we’re talking about implantation failure is happening as a result of 50 percent of the sperm quality and sperm issues and 50 percent to do with egg quality and egg issues. Those are things to definitely keep in mind because it will definitely make a big difference on both sides.
