Chinese Pepper Steak
Chinese Pepper Steak
400gm Beef steak, thinly sliced
1 green capsicum, chopped
1 red capsicum, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 Tbs tamari sauce
1 Tbs sesame oil
¼ C cashew nuts
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
Heat oil in a fry pan or wok. Add garlic and ginger to the pan and cook for a few minutes until it is fragrant. Add the beef and tamari sauce and cook on a high heat until it is just brown. Reduce the heat a little and add the onion and capsicums. Cook for several minutes until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are warmed. Stir through the pepper and cashew nuts and cook for a further 1 minute.
